AI governance at the intersection of law, technology, and ethics.

We are an independent consultancy focused on the assessment and governance of AI systems. Our team brings together expertise in computer science, law, and ethics — allowing us to evaluate AI not only for technical performance, but also for legal defensibility and societal impact.

Many challenges associated with AI systems sit at the intersection of technical design, legal obligations, and normative questions about accountability. Our interdisciplinary approach treats these dimensions together, producing assessments that are both rigorous and practical.

The EU AI Act applies beyond Europe.

The EU AI Act — the world's first comprehensive AI regulation — is already in force. Its obligations apply not only to EU-based organizations, but to any organization anywhere in the world whose AI systems affect EU residents or operate in EU markets. For organizations in the UAE and GCC with European clients, partners, or operations, compliance is not optional.

Beyond direct legal obligations, the EU AI Act is setting the international standard. Regulators in other jurisdictions — including the Gulf — are watching it closely. Organizations that prepare now gain a competitive advantage: they build governance structures that satisfy both current requirements and the regulatory frameworks that are coming.

Extraterritorial reach

The Act applies to any AI system placed on the EU market or affecting EU residents — regardless of where the provider is based.

Phased deadlines

Obligations are being rolled out in phases from 2024–2027. High-risk system providers face the strictest requirements. The time to prepare is now.

GCC convergence

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other GCC states are developing AI governance frameworks that align with international standards, including the EU model.

Our expertise

We assess AI systems against EU AI Act requirements and advise on compliance pathways tailored to organizations operating across jurisdictions.
